Anxiety Therapy

Are anxiety and overthinking getting in the way of you living your best life?

Do you find that more often than not you are worried, stressed out or spiraling? That your mind spins and you feel completely out of control? That you have excessive and obsessive worry. Maybe your friends and family consider you the “pessimist” and your glass is half empty, as you prepare for the worst case scenario and wait for the other shoe to drop. You experience sleepless nights and frantic days. The overwhelming thoughts of everything you could have done better and didn’t do at all.

The anxiety that prevents you from making major life decisions, spending time with family and friends and ultimately, spending quality time with yourself. Sometimes anxiety can cause you to become your own worst enemy. Being inside of your head feels like you are running with no end in sight. Maybe your anxiety is starting to take a toll on your body. Sweating palms, racing heart, dizziness, pacing, isolating. Your stomach is upset often, you’re not sleeping great, you have headaches and your fuse is shorter than ever.

Maybe your anxiety has become so overwhelming that you are numbing. With drugs and alcohol, with sex, shopping, over sleeping. You are no longer present for yourself and those around you. You cannot concentrate- even when you’re doing your best to distract yourself! Maybe you can’t focus on that show you used to love, or have no energy or desire to even watch it in the first place.

I’m here to tell you: this isn’t your fault and there is a way out. Sometimes our minds use anxiety as a default mode to keep us safe. It may have worked for you for awhile but now it’s getting in the way. Especially if I feel I’m no longer in an environment where I need to have my guard up, where I need to be ready to fight or flee at any moment.

Sometimes we get in our own way to getting help. Sometimes the thoughts in our head tell us we wont find the right person, we won’t get better, we don’t have the time.

Take the plunge and regain control of your thoughts and your life. We can help you understand and navigate your anxiety.
